Join the inaugural celebration of the Florida State Day known as Pascua Florida Day. Let’s commemorate how Florida was named when Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de Leon arrived during the season of the Pascua Florida (Flowery Easter) with the celebration honoring the shared Spanish, Indigenous, African, and Florida heritages that helped shape Florida.
When: Saturday, April 11, 2026, 10:00 AM – 1 PM
Where: The Plaza Coral Gables (Near the Consulate of Spain), 2811 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Coral Gables, FL 33134
Entry Fee: $10/adult, free for children 12 and under. Proceeds from the event will benefit SSJ Health Foundation.
