
Miami, FL — November 4, 2025 — SSJ Health Foundation, the philanthropic partner of St. John Bosco Clinic, proudly announces the appointment of Tara Auclair as its new Director of Development, effective October 7, 2025. In this role, Auclair will lead strategic planning and donor development, fundraising and campaign management, marketing and communications, and other initiatives to support the Foundation’s mission of providing compassionate and philanthropic support for the health care ministry of St. John Bosco Clinic to the uninsured and underserved in the Miami-Dade community.
Tara Auclair brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit development, strategic communications, and mission-driven leadership. With a strong background in building relationships, advancing philanthropic goals, and elevating organizational impact, she is well-positioned to lead SSJ Health Foundation’s development efforts into its next phase of growth.

For over 30 years the St. John Bosco Clinic has served as a medical home for uninsured adults and children living at or below the 300% Federal Poverty Level in Miami-Dade County. Thanks to donations from funders and the community, the clinic provides primary care services, chronic disease management and other care to over 1,100 uninsured patients in over 4,2000 medical visits per year with the goals to reduce inappropriate use of emergency rooms, identify, prevent and treat the most prevalent diseases, serve as navigators to assist patients in accessing community services and to deliver the health education and care through culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate communication.
This leadership appointment underscores SSJ Health Foundation’s continued commitment to advancing health care, fostering donor trust, and strengthening the vital services provided by St. John Bosco Clinic.
