We are thrilled to announce that the St. John Bosco Clinic will be opening after more than two months of suspending in-person care due to the COVID-19 pandemic!
During this time, our highly trained staff and volunteer doctors and nurses have been working diligently to make sure patients continued to be served through telehealth and telephone services. We have also been preparing to serve the growing number of uninsured and underserved population on Miami-Dade County.
In addition to following Center for Disease Control directives and local government protocols, the clinic will be implementing telehealth services into their regular care to better serve patients and grow their reach.
Everyone in the SSJ community has shown tremendous generosity and resilience through this most challenging time. Your generosity has allowed us to continue to monitor and meet remotely with patients in our care. Still, as you know, there has never been a bigger need for access to quality free healthcare. That is why, as we look to the future with renewed hope and resolve, we are calling on your generosity once again.
Any amount you can donate has a tremendous impact on the lives of Miami’s most neglected. Please consider the following:
$25 helps a patient with diabetes testing supplies for a month
$50 helps screen a woman for cervical cancer
$100 helps purchase exam room supplies and equipment
$250 helps purchase medication for our dispensary
$500 sponsors one new patient for a full year
Miami is a city that has endured historic challenges. One thing that has characterized each one of those periods has been our ability to bounce back better than before. We are now, once again, at a defining moment.
We are always humbled and awed by the way you continually answer the call to Faith. We look forward to this new chapter and to the healing that happens when we come together as a community.
The clinic will resume operations, by appointment, from Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
